Alternative method
Forced-choice self-test
The classic DISC approach some practitioners prefer: for each group of four words, pick the one that is most like you and the one that is least like you. Compare your result with the Likert test to see which feels truer.
10 word groups
In each group of four, choose your Most and your Least. Quick and instinctive is best.
Which is most & least like you?
● Most — most like me
● Least — least like me
Your dominant style (forced-choice)
Comparing methods: forced-choice (ipsative) scoring exaggerates your strongest and
weakest colours because every pick trades one colour off against another. The
Likert test lets colours score independently, so mild blends
show up more softly. Neither is “correct” — together they triangulate the real you.
